Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By engaging Static Web Works ("we", "our", "us") to create a website, you ("Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms govern the services provided, payments, cancellation rights, ownership, and limitations of liability.

2. Service Description

We provide the design and development of static websites hosted on Cloudflare. Service tiers are:

• Demo Preview: €10 (non-refundable)
  Tailor-made initial website mockup delivered as a working link.
• 1-page Website: €350
• 3-page Website: €800
• 5–7-page Complex Website: €1250

Additional services such as support or maintenance may be provided separately upon request and are not included by default.

3. Ownership and Intellectual Property

• The Client retains full ownership of all assets delivered: website code, domain, Cloudflare account, and all intellectual property.
• We do not retain rights to reuse your website in any portfolio, showcase, or promotional materials unless we receive your express written consent.
• If the Client requests, code can be provided via a GitHub repository.

4. Payment Terms

• Demo: €10 upfront. Non-refundable.
• Website Projects: 20% deposit required to begin work.
• Remaining 80% due before final delivery and handover.
• All payments are non-refundable, except in the case outlined in Section 5.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• If the Client cancels before any work has begun, the 20% deposit may be refunded at our discretion.
• Once work has started, no refunds are issued, as payment covers time and effort already expended.
• The Client is kept informed of the work-in-progress via email and/or a project management platform.

6. Revisions Policy

Reasonable revisions are included to ensure Client satisfaction. This includes changes to layout, sections, colors, or content.

• Revisions are accepted within reason (up to 50 iterations).
• Requests that significantly alter the initial scope may be subject to additional charges.

7. Delivery Timeline

Delivery timelines are estimated after initial consultation, depending on the scope and complexity of the project.
Time estimates are non-binding and subject to change due to unforeseen delays or late client feedback.

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information and timely feedback.
• Communicate professionally.
• Make payments promptly as agreed.

Failure to comply may delay the project or lead to termination of services (see Section 9).

9. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service, without liability, in cases including but not limited to:

• Client abuse, harassment, or unprofessional conduct
• Repeated scope changes beyond agreement
• Prolonged unresponsiveness (15+ days without reply)
• Violation of these Terms

If terminated, completed work to date may be provided at our discretion, but no further services will be rendered.

10. Limitation of Liability

Static Web Works is not liable for:

• Hosting downtime (as websites are hosted on third-party platforms like Cloudflare)
• Client misuse of code or content
• Loss of revenue, data, or damages arising from your use of the website or our services

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the project.

11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Any disputes shall first attempt to be resolved amicably. If unresolved, they will be submitted to the competent courts in Sofia, Bulgaria.

12. Miscellaneous

• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays due to events beyond our control (natural disasters, illness, technical failures).
• Severability: If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
• Amendments: We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued engagement with our services after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
